I purchased DIAS Physics video course, and found it is very good especially because of the teaching skills of Vajpayee Sir. He is very interactive during the class, motivates us in different different classes and makes us work as required by the syllabus to score good marks (despite the fact the videos are recorded not live but one can really feel how much interactive these are). And the videos are of good quality. I found it very useful in my preparation and there is always is a room for development so giving it 4 🌟.
There is a stigma against Science Optional among aspirants, I was no exception. Until I came to know about Vajpayee Sir. The syllabus is mighty in itself, and very difficult to consolidate it's horizontal span and vertical depth. The way syllabus is taught at DIAS will make it easiest cupcake for you. One must go for Physics optional coaching at DIAS for proper guidance without any second thought.
Sri D P Vajpayee is the best teacher one can get for holistic coverage of physics optional course.. his teaching is all about going beyonds the book, which is prerequisite for physics optional in CSE. All the stigma about physics optional will allay under his able guidance. Sir's class is a must do if someone is aiming for best result in physics optional.
DP Vajpayee sir's way of teaching is amazing and his command on the subject is unmatchable. He covers horizontal and vertical spread of physics course very well. Although, I purchased online course but he is always available for solving or doubts and helps us to master our answer writing skills.
DIAS INDIA
I went for physics optional course for UPSC here in mid September and while my whole syllabus is complete I am writing this review.
Starting from the person(Vajpayee sir) teaching here, I would like to tell you that he is a very charismatic person. Only he can complete the such a vast syllabus of physics holistically within 5 months. He has an excellent command over all the topics. You can suspect the optical phenomena of sunset and sunsrise but can't suspect the knowledge of Vajpayee sir.
Talking about the teaching method, he introduces syllabus before every class. He has divided the syllabus into various subsections which makes the students understand the syllabus holistically. After that he teaches the topics and along with that he discusses the tutorial sheets in class itself of previous 20 years. Dealing with the UPSC questions tells you about the depth of the topic upto which it is to be studied. After every subsection a test is conducted which I think is the most integral part of preparation.
Overall, I'll suggest you if you really want to tackle the whole syllabus in a shorter time, vajpayee sir's classes are worth it.
I joined mathematics test discussion series 2019 at DIAS India. My experience was better than other places because not only all the test paper were corrected on time, but also personal feedback on enriching the presentation of answer was given under the guidance of reverent Vajpayee sir. There were 10 sectional tests on all topics of the syllabus which helped me to recognise my weak areas so that I could rectify my mistakes done in previous attempt at UPSC CSE (mains) examination.
Simply put - u don't need to think twice before joining physics course here. Vajpayee sir is the only person who can cover physics syllabus so well in 4.5 months. Although, if anyone has less time it can be done in 3 months also if simultaneous batches are running.
